Josh writes the following about Johnny Tremain :
" Johnny Tremain" is a great and thrilling book. It's about a kid named Johnny who's in the middle of the Revolutionary War. He's already taken part in the Boston Tea Party. After, the Boston Tea Party English soliders started to come. Eventually Rab(Johnny's friend) was sent to the battle.
This book will leave you hanging off your seat thinking "what's going to happen next?" It's by the author Esther Forbes. I'd give this book a ten on a one to ten scale because of the sad ending. It really suprised me.

"Johnny Tremain's" main theme is friendship because that's what kept Johnny going. Also it's good vs. evil because the Minute Men(good) had to face the English soliders(bad). The books genre is Historical Fiction because Johnny Tremain was a made up character in the Revolutionary War time. I urge to read this book.
