Kiley writes the following about Rules :
I really enjoyed reading the book Rules by Cynthia Lord. The book, Rules is about a twelve year old girl named Catherine. She has a younger brother named David, who has autism. Catherine is learning to be happy with her brother getting most of the attention in her family.
I would rate this book a 10 out of 10. I could picture every scene in this book because the author used very dercriptive words. The author's perspective made it so you could relate at times on how Catherine is feeling. I would reommend this book to girls ages 10 to 12 years old because Catherine is a twelve year old girl who is different because of her brother.
I wouldn't change anything abouit the book. The book wasn't boring like other books I have read in the past where you couldn't picture or relate to the book. This is an amazing book because Catherine learned to accept people and I also learned to accept people from reading this book. You should go out and read the book Rules by Cynthia Lord.
