I really enjoyed reading Crispin: The Cross of Lead. I really liked when Crispin and Bear were heading for Great Wexley. It started to get really good there because they were heading for the biggest city.
I would give this book an eight out of ten because about the one-fourth of the book was boring. However, the rest of the book held my interest.
The only thing I would have changed was more action towards the beginning.
i would probably recommend this book to early teenagers because middle schoolers wouldn't like it and younger kids wouldn't understand it.
