Down a dark hall is about a fourteen year old girl named Kit. The other teacher is Professor Farley.Kit thought there were going to be about fifty girls at the school, but only foir girls arrived at the school. sandy Masson becomes Kit's closest friend. Ruth Stark and Lynda Hannah arrive to Blackwood. Kit begans to have nightmares of the school. Then Kit finds out the secret of Blackwood.
Kit escapes from a fire at Blackwood and saves Lynda from the fire and she sees her father in spirit form.
