cool stuff writes the following about The Cage :
this book was great to read. i from it very educational. it help witht he project tht i am doing on it. riva went through very hard times at the begining and i felt her pain. but her brothers want her her to live and believed in her so they helpped her out in anyway they could. then they finally went to the train to go to the camps as hard as it was htey still did it and they went with friends. they went to the camps and got split and some of the friends they went with got send to the left which was for if you were going to get killed because you look sick or just plain weak. Riva pulled through and was freed by the russians. even through it was hard she pulled through by have her mom always in her head " if hope is lost, all is lost" and i think thats way she was saved. she had her mom watching over her to make sure she stayed alive. she did never find her brothers but she did find her other family that her mom had sent away from the family before the war had started. it was a good book so i think you should read it!
