Alec P. writes the following about Holes [UNABRIDGED] :
"I wanted to die for years". That is a quote from the thrilling book Holes, by Louis Sachar. He puts you on the edge of your seat and makes you want to read more. Stanley, the main character has a lot of trouble in the book and almost gets killed when he gets in a hole with 8 yellow spotted lizards. He also has to carry Zero up a mountain. I think this book will be good for kids and teens because of the adventure and the excitement in the book.

This book is about a boy named Stanley Yelnats. Who is cursed by hes no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-grandfather. When he gets in trouble he is sent to Camp Greenlake. There he meets a lot of new kids. X-ray, Zig Zag, Magnet, and Zero. Zero plays a big roll in the book. When Stanley and Zero escape from camp they go up a mountain. There they found refuge. When they go back to camp they dig one more hole and find something that is amazing. So read the book and find out more.
