Mimjo writes the following about Travel Far, Pay No Fare :
Would you love to jump into your favorite book? A young girl named Parsley can do exactly that. Travel Far, Pay No Fare is a good book by Anne Lindbergh. Her writing makes you fell as if you are actually in the book with the characters. The main characters are Nan-Ellen, Uncle Jack, Owen, and Parsley. Nan-Ellen is marrying Uncle Jack, and they are going to live in Vermont. Nan-Ellen is allergic to cats, Parsley, who doesn't like these new changes, because now she doesn't have lots of time to spend with her dad. She brings in tons of cats just to make Nan-Ellen to move back to New York. Owen doesn't like these changes either, but as long as he has T.V, he is fine.
It is hard for Nan-Ellen and Owen to move from New York because Nan-Ellen is a famous children book author and because they are not used to living in a very hot place with no air conditioning. One day, Parsley got in trouble and was sent to her room for the rest of the day. Owen went to talk to her, when he got in, she was soaking wet and had a cat in her hand. Parsley told Owen that she just came from inside book. Owen, who was very confused, just stared at her. Parsley said that last year and this year she had a bookmark, this year's bookmark worked, unlike last year's.
I think that this was a good book if you like books that will make you feel like you are inside with them, this would be a good book for you.
"Remember you can Travel Far, and Pay No Fares in a book.”
