Danielle writes the following about The Boyfriend :
The book "The Boyfriend" by R.L. Stine is one of the best suspense and horror book that I have read in the last year. Because it is the one book that you just want to keep reading to see what will happen next. With the events changing every minute, all you want to do is read. My mom told me that it was time for me to go to bed, and I didn't want to stop reading, so I found a flash light and stayed up for about another two hours reading. It's about this couple that loves each other more than the world, but when mike dies in a car crash she really doesn't care. Then when he's gone she goes and gets a new boyfriend. But when her ex comes back from the dead she doesn’t know what to do. All that Casey can think is what is going on here.

For the rest of the time one minute there is a boring event happening and the next there is something thrilling going on. As long as you don’t lose your place or get confused you should be able to stay with the book. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend or to some random person at the library. This book is probably one of the most page turning books of all time.
