The auther of the book is Darren Shan. Cirque Du Freak is about this kid named Darren Shan who is a half-vampire. Darren and his mentor Mr.Crepsly are leaving from the Cirque Du Freak were they work at.The main charcters are Darren,Mr.Crepsly,Evra,Mourglough,and Debbie.They are leaving because Mr.Crepsly wants to see the city he grew up in.
Then they left to go to the city. When they get there they rent a hotel for a few days. Then Darren mets a girl.They become friends and later they find out a little more about themselfs. Later Darren and Evra become very suspious of Mr. Crepsly. To find out more read the book.
