SPOILER: DON'T READ THIS IF YOU ARE GOING TO READ THE BOOK AND DON'T WANT IT TO BE SPOILED. ALL I AM TO SAY IS THIS BOOK WAS INCREDIBLE. Okay, i don't know what that girl Jasmine is talking about. This book was amazing and was by far my favorite book ever. It is about a fourteen year old girl named Claire who has always lived her life as just her mother and her in Toronto, New York. She lives a normal life, however with no father. When her mother finally decides that they can go visit her grandmother in British Columbia, she realizes her mother has way more secrets about her past than Claire could have ever imagined. She then unexpectedly finds out her father is this guy named Mac, who was in town and didn't even know of Claire and Janey's presence. When she finds out he is her father, everything changes. She also finds out she has a half brother, Jamie, who she deeply loves. They form an unexplainable bond before they even knew they were brother and sister. When Claire finds out that Jamie has lukemia, and she is the only solution, she instantly agrees to be the doner. During the book she also meets this boy named Jack, who is supposedly really hot, and they like each other, which is so cute. Claire struggles with everything that seems so unreal, and so does her mother and Mac also. Jamie is inlove with Claire, and when he finds out shes his half sister, he innocently asks "Can brothers and sisters get married?" I thought that was so adorable. I seriously could not put this book down. I finished it within two days, regretting nothing. I thought this book was absolutely phenomenal, and i hope hope hopeeee the author will write a sequel. We never get to find out if Jamie recovers or not, but i'm guessing he does. But still i want there to be a sequel so desperately because it was so good. The sequel could be when Mac and Jamie visit Claire and Janey in Toronto. And Claire could even see Jack again. (: I may not have explained this well, but if your confused then you just have to read the book yourself. I highly recommend this book, mostly to young teen girls, who i highly doubt will be reading this, but whatever. This book was extraordinary.
