Jet writes the following about Romiette and Julio :
This book was very "wishy-washy" in my opinion. I felt the rising action was somewhat suspenseful, but boring after a while. Then, leading to more disappointment, the climax was horrible! And to make matters worse, the end was not “satifiable”. I felt there were parts missing to the book, but at the same time to minor characters made the book longer than it should have been. For example the chapters with just the news reports were not needed. Maybe one brief, but good chapter like that would have been good. I had to read this book for my honors English class so I had to finish it. If I had the chance I would have stopped reading the book about a quarter of the way through. Remember people, this is my book review; therefore, it is my opinion. Everyone is different. So despite my thoughts towards the book, take a chance to read it. Maybe you will think differently. - J.P. Jet
