Mira Chaplin writes the following about Little House in the Big Woods :
This is a really cute book. It is the first book in the Laure Ingalls Wilder series, and also my favorite. The descriptions are amazingly vivid. It starts with Laura living in a little log cabin in the woods of Wisconsin. She has a sister who is much prettier than her. This book tells us about life in the big woods, happieness, sadness, and a little bit of humor. It does not have enough humor to be described as an especially funny book, but the humorr is tasteful enough to keep you from getting bored. I recommenend this book for all young children.
