Ann Thruits writes the following about Holes [UNABRIDGED] :
I Rate Holes 10/10.Holes is a book about a young boy named Stanley Yelnats who is declared guilty of stealing a pair of shoes that belonged to a famous bace ball player, Clyde Livingston.Stanley is sent to Camp Green Lake, a camp for bad boys.Every day Stanley is required to dig a 5 foot wide 5foot deep hole for 18 months in the blaizing hot sun.In the book many exciting events happen, read the book to find out.I think Holes is the best book. The plot is very unpredictible and I like how the setting changes from past to present. I would recomend Holes for any age because it is such a great book. I hope you read it!
