There is a little boy named georgie. His mother is a alcholic. Her boyfriend beats Georgie. Mrs. Sims gives him a ticket to win a rosebush. he wins the rose bush! when he comes home Steve the mothers boyfriend beat him with the leg of a chair. the jantor comes to see whats the noise is about, he finds georgie getting beat. he calls the police. georgie goes to the hospital and he has a broken arm and is brused bad. georgie meets a jugde name judge o'neal. the judge has georgie go to a school for all boys. then he meets timmy and sister mary anglea. timmy shows him around the school. he goes to the playground and sees Mrs.Harper's graden and he decides that should be the place where is nrosebush should be planted. he soons finds out that he can't plant it there because mrs. harper never lets anyone in her garden. so one night when he goes to the garden and plants the rosebush in there. mrs.harper the next day rips it out. she yells at him and see all his cuts. she starts to like him. georgie wants to be in the school play. when mrs. harpers little boy dies from a drowning accident. georgie rips his rosebush out of the garden and puts it in robins grave. mrs. harpers starts to love him and he loves her.
