Sammy writes the following about The Last Mission :
The book overall was very good in story, a boy who is 14 illegally enlists into USAAF. He is both waist gunners on B-17 bombers named Godfather's I and II. He flys 24 sucessful missions, but the last mission he is shot down, and he tries hard to return to friendly territory. Although the book has cussing and bad influences, it is a very good story.
