Nathan writes the following about holes :
This is a book about a boy named Stanley Yelnats. Stanley was sent to Camp Green Lake for supposedly stealing Clyde Livinsteen's shoes. Clyde Livingsteen was a famous athlete so when Stanley supposedly stole his sneakers he was sent to Camp Green Lake. Camp Green Lake is a juvenile correctional facility, and it s a detention center for boys. Stanley's best friend is called Zero. Zero's real name is Hector Zeroni. The boys at Camp Green Lake are required to dig hole that are 5 feet deep and 5 feet in diameter. The camper are digging the holes because the warden is looking for something. I gave this book a ten out of ten rating because it captures the imagination of all readers.
