The Last Apprentice is one of my favorite stories of all time for many reasons. The Last Apprentice is a scary, mysterious, and suspenseful. There are three awesome books that will make you want to keep reading until you are finished.
It takes place around medieval times and a boy named Thomas who is the 7th son of a 7th son. Thomas is tired of being a farmer bossed around by his Dad and his oldest brother Jim. Finally he is going to get a new job.... He will be the spook’s apprentice. A spook is someone who keeps the people safe by dealing with mystical creatures.
Thomas leaves his family and goes with the spook named Gregory who was a 7th son of a 7th son too. Thomas is afraid of monsters but wants to show his Dad and brother that he can be a spook. Thomas soon learns that a mistake could cost many people’s lives including his own. If you want to find out what happens read the book and hopefully you too will give this book a 10
