I love Number the Stars! This book is about his holocaust; Annemarie is a ten year old girl who has a friend named Ellen who is Jewish. At first Ellen doesn’t have to hind or anything. One day Ellen’s parents get taking by soldiers so Ellen has to hind at Annemarie’s house. One night Annemarie and Ellen herd a knock on the door. It was the soldiers! They asked if they have any Jews at their house. Annemarie and Ellen heard the solider ask that too! So much fear went through the whole family especially Ellen. Too find out what happens next you have to read the book, but only if your ready to hear a very sad story.
