Rachael writes the following about Number the Stars :
I think that Number the Stars is a great book because it is very adventurous. I think it is adventurous because it is about a family whose friends are Jewish. The Jewish family is in trouble because it is the Holocaust. This family has to hide so they don’t get caught. The family has to split up. There daughter goes with her friend to hide, and the parents have to stay behind. I also like this story because it makes you feel like you are really there. Number the stars is also a really good book because it has cool facts about the Holocaust and what happened to some families. This book makes you want to keep reading. If you want find out what happens you should read this great book.
