Jason Nosaj writes the following about Holes [UNABRIDGED] :
I personally would give holes a 10 out of 10 because it is interesting and the characters are about my age. It is about a young boy his name is Stanley Yelnats he is about 10 or 11. his family blames all of thier failures on thier no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather. one day some shoes fell from the sky and hit Stanley in the head. he was blamed for stealing them from the homeless shelter. the next day he went to court . he had the choice to go to jail or Camp Green Lake. he went to Camp Green Lake and met alot friends on the first week. Camp Green Lake was a camp for bad boys there punishment was to dig a hole 5 feet deep and 5 feet wide. if they found something they were to give it to the Warden and would get the rest of the day off. at the end stanley and his friend finds something special, read the book and find out what it is.
