Rebecca writes the following about Thunder from the Sea :
Ever wondered living in an orphanage; or living with a fisherman and his wife. Well Tom Cambell had to live with that for his whole life. This book is about a boy named Tom Campbell who always wanted a family, and a real house. Since he was 3 years old he had lived in an orphanage. Then he was sent to live and work with a fisherman and his wife. He rescues a Newfoundland dog and named him Thunder. Then the fisherman’s wife becomes pregnant; and it looks that Thunder’s owner might be found. Will the family still want Tom? Will Tom have to give up his beloved dog? I like this book because it’s filled with adventure; and how important it is to have a dog. I rate this book a 10. If you like adventure, you will like this book!
