Michael Harvey writes the following about Little House in the Big Woods :
The Little House In The Big Woods is a great book for all ages. The main characters are Laura, Mary, Pa, Ma, and baby Carrie Ingalls. The Ingalls live in the country in Pepin, Wisconsin. The whole family works together on their farm. At night, when the work is done, Pa plays his fiddle and the family sings. The Ingalls enjoy being together.
You will like this book a lot if you like animals, and outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and cutting down trees. I would recommend the Little House books because they are very funny and interesting. My opinion of this book is that it is very good and you can learn a lot of things.
Laura Ingalls Wilder did a great job sharing her childhood with her readers. She writes so that people living in 2008 can understand.
