Ishmael writes the following about Soldier Boys :
Its a good book that talks about Spencer who is an American soldier and Dieter who is a German soldier and both can't wait till war starts. They have similarities about proving themselves and them thinking that just by them joining war will make them a man. They just want to start war without knowing what it really is like. Once they actually see War they complain about how they never thought it was going to be like this. They have to go through cold nights and hearing bullets and shells firing around them. Good book teaches you about not doing something just to prove other people who you are. Being brave isn't always smart.
