Daijha writes the following about Out of the Dust (Newbery Medal Book) :
It all take place in Okahoma in 1934.there is Pa,ma,and billie jo.In the middle of the story,billie jo and ma was in the kicken.Ma saw the keroseen thatshe thought it was water.Pa went out the door until the keroseen caught on fire.Ma went out side to get Pa,but Billie jo grab the pot and through it out side.Ma was coming and the keroseen got on her apron.Billie
o trid to put out the fire,but it was to late.Ma was burn up.Ma dieds and so does Billie Jo's bother.I think you'll love this book.You will feel like you was their.I just tried to put the book down,but it want work.I can't listen to my mom because the book is interesting. The only thing I see in my dreams is the book. I can't stop looking at it.It is fun to read.Maybe not for you,but for me.In Out Of The Dust the story is really about the dust bowl.It had gave people the pumonaya and died. People got sick.They all move to Californa.
