A boy called david writes a story about a squirreland the publishers don't like it.His teacher. Dr.Bergstrom tells him something about a 1000 word essay about the existance, or not,of dragons with a prize of a trip to the arctic.He meets a girl called Zanna and they become friends and soon fall in love.Random things about dragons happen inbetween and then I don't really know what happens in the end beause I have 4 capters more to read but I think David gets the trip to the arctic.
To be honest, Ithink this book is rubbish because I'm a girl and this book is more for boys but I had to read it in my reading group.
P.S: if your'e a girl and thinking about reading this book then don't bother because it's rubbish.
