OK, this is a MUST HAVE book for your children's book collection. The illustrations are spectacular and the story is beautifully written. My children request this story over and over again. They love to spend time looking at the beautiful illustrations. It is apparent that the illustrator has been around animals, especially horses as the detail is so realistic. It is absolutely one of my very favorite children's books and I know that my children will cherish their copies of this book. If you have children at the age for picture books, ages 4 - 9, or you are a grandparent who is looking for a beautifully illustrated book to purchase for your grandchildren, I urge you to get this one, they will truly enjoy it.
