I think this book is a very decent book. I also think that I wont truly get the meaning of it tell I am a freshman. Your probably thinking it is a book about I freshman, well your right. This book is about a kid named Scott Hudson. He is a freshman telling the story of sleeping freshman never lies. The story is about Scott and his buddies going into high school. They are all scared a little at first. Scott’s mom is pregnant with his baby brother Sean, so he decides to make a guide to the baby. Every night he writes in his journal about things that he did and helpful things too know. In high school Scott has some ups and downs with his friends but then knows that true friends are always there in tough times. Scott falling in love with a girl that ever one is scared of named Lee. Dealing with the main bully, the sports jock Vernon and sometimes his best friend Kyle. He almost loses mouth and then soon realizes that he is a good friend after almost losing him. The main characters are Scott, Mouth, Kyle, Lee and Wesley. I rate this book a 9 because there are some great parts and some boring parts in it.
