Hannah Montana Banana Pad writes the following about Schooled :
The Book Schooled by Gordon Korman is a book about a boy named Capricorn Anderson. Capricorn’s grandma fell out of a tree picking plums one day so Cap (as everybody calls him in the book) has to take her to the hospital, but since no one but him and his grandma Rain live in Garland Farms he has to drive her to the hospital. Cap is only 13 and he knows how to drive. Once he gets to the hospital he gets arrested for not having a license. Since Cap has no other family members that the police could a hold of, a person that used to live at Garland Farms (where Cap lives) picks him up. Her name is Floramundi Donnelly and Cap stays with her till his grandma gets better. At Floramundi Donnelly’s house Cap meets a girl named Sophie Donnelly, Floramudi’s daughter. She doesn’t like him in the beginning. Cap has to go to school with Sophie at Claverage Middle School. (“C Average” as they call it) From there on Cap meets Hugh Winkleman and they become friends. Cap also meets Zach and he shows hi m around the school because Mr. Kasigi the principal asked him to. At C Average they are looking for class presidents and Zach nominates Cap. Cap doesn’t know what that is but he wins. Later on he meets Naomi Erlanger, Zena, Lena, and Darryl. Those guys are Zach’s friends. Zach, Naomi, Zena, Lena, and Darryl don’t seem to like Cap so they prank him and are man to him. A couple months later he left and they all realized that they missed him and he left without saying goodbye. Cap came back and said goodbye to everyone. This book was 208 pages and I would recommend it to kids 12 and up because they might know what cap was going through. I would rate it a 10 because I was really interested in it. I told you a lot about the story but there is still a lot more. If you wan to find out you should read it!
