!MEGANNN writes the following about Schooled :
Schooled” is a 208 page fiction book by Gordon Korman. Its about a kid, Capricorn Anderson who grew up in a commune, and who looks and acts like he’s still stuck in the 60's. He’s never watched tv, or even eaten pizza ever in his life. One day his world gets turned upside down when Rain, his grandmother falls out of a tree, and Cap is forced to attend Claverage [C-Average] Middle School. He’s staying with Mrs. Donnelly a former commune member and her daughter Sophie until Rain gets better. Cap is what kids at his new school would consider weird and he is automatically considered the biggest geek at the school. When Zac the most popular kid at C-Average elects Cap as class president Cap is overwhelmed and has no clue what to do. In this book you will follow Capricorn on all his adventures as president, and see how Cap survives in the 21st Century.
I would give this book a 7 out of 10 because it wasnt the best book ever, but it kept me interested and I really liked how the author made it so a different person was talking every chapter. One thing I would change though is that the author would tell us more what it was like to live in Garland. Overall this was a pretty good book.
