Jessica writes the following about Crank :
The book I just finished is called “Crank.” It was written by the wonderful author Ellen Hopkins. Kristina Georgia Snow is the perfect daughter. She’s a high school junior, quiet, gifted at school work, never got into any kind of trouble. Kristina’s parents are divorced, and she’s living with her mom, so she goes and visits her dad who lives in a rundown apartment. When Kristina comes back, she’s not Kristina anymore. Her name is “Bree.” Bree is the total opposite of Kristina. She’s fearless, does whatever, and that is when bad things start to happen. She meets Crank through a guy she hooks up with during her visit. Crank takes her on a wild, ecstatic ride, which turns out to be a struggle for her soul, mind, and even her life. In the end of the book, she ends up getting pregnant. Kristina was a great girl. She had everything, and she messed it all up for Crank.
