Philop writes the following about Sleeping Freshman Never Lie :
SFNL (Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie) is mainly about a boy that’s starting out high school named Scott Hudson. Scott is a reporter for the school news paper. Throughout the entire book, Scott is chasing after the girl of his dreams, Julia! Scott is writing in a little journal type to his brother that isn’t born yet, kind of like tips for when he gets to high school. At first the book is a little boring but when the high school life comes in, things get good so you have to hang in there till the middle. Scott also has an older brother, Bobby. The whole book is mainly taking place at school or at his home. Later in the book Scott becomes friends with a kid name Wesley who used to beat on Scott. Lee is also like a friend to Scott now. The main problem in the book I would say would have to be Scott getting around in school and accepting the fact that he’s getting a baby brother. I would personally give this book a 7 on a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best book I’ve ever read and 1 being the worst book I’ve ever read. The reason for the grading was because at sometimes, it’s just hard to understand what’s going on. If I could change something about the book, it would be about getting to the point quicker or stalling until the problem has been reached.
