lyssa writes the following about Darkness Before Dawn :
I think that this book was the best out of the series. I say that because it has suspense and the conclusion. This book is about a girl named Keisha and going throught the rest of the year trying to deal with a lot of stuff. She had to deal with her ex - boyfriend that commited sucide the night after she broke up with him. Her true friends were there to help her through it. Also, when she almost got raped. She saw this new teacher at her school. So they started talking and the night of the dance he told her he was going to take her to a really nice place to eat. It turns out he didn't. He took advantage of her. Took her to his apartment and almost raped her!! How scary is that? Can you imagine being in that position? She tried geting out but failed, he blocked the door. As she was trying to get away she reached a grabbed a pocket knife. Right across his face. He got cut and she ran out. She ran out into the freezzing cold weather, with no shoes. She had met this older lady earlier in the novel that returned the faver of helping her in the time of need. I reccomend this book to all girls that have not only been in this situatuion but all girls over the age of 10. This is a little of a life changing book. Its shows you how you need to think about what you do, when you do it, and who you are doing it with. It shows you a lot of the personalities of different guys and how they react to different situations they are put in.
