The Da Vinci Code is a 467 page mystery/detective book from the author of Dan Brown. Out in Paris Robert Langdon has been asked to help solve a mystery. An elderly curator of the Louvre has been killed inside the museum with an awkward cipher near his body. While Robert and a French cryptologist Sophie Neveu, are on a mission to decipher a mind-bending code in the works of Leonardo da Vinci from the curator’s dying clues. As they go on in their mission, the stakes get higher as they are framed to the authorities and being hunted by the Priory of Sion, a hidden society which involved members including Sir Isaac Newton, Botticelli, Victor Hugo, Leonardo da Vinci, the curator himself and many others. In a desperate race through France, Robert and Sophie find themselves matching wits with a mysterious powerbroker that seems to anticipate their every move. Until they solved the confusing puzzle, the secret of the Priory of Sion and an ancient truth, soon will be forever lost. I’d give this book a 10/10 because of the twisted clues that are in this book, not that they’re only interesting, but also based on historical facts from famous people. Also, with the amount of realism in this book, it makes you wonder about the Christianity times and to unravel the secret truth! I would change absolutely nothing about the book just because it’s perfect the way it is.
