teeny-tiny-tater-tot writes the following about Sleeping Freshman Never Lie :
Some people think high school was a breeze. And they say it was there most memorable year, because of how much fun they had. The freshman year of Scott Hudson was memorable, but not in the same way. He barely survived his first day. The only good thing in his day was Julia. She was a lot prettier than he remembered her to be, although the last time he saw her was in kindergarten. He gets in all sorts of trouble to be able to get her to notice him. Scott decides to save his soon-to-be baby brother from the misery he faced, so he writes a journal for him explaining the things you should and shouldn’t do in high school. Scott can survive one day of high school, but can he survive a whole year?
I gave this book 9 out of 10 because although it was a great book, it could have been better. It had a good ending, and middle, but the beginning was boring. It didn’t have a very good hook, if there was even one at all. I would’ve made more exciting things happen in the beginning, to draw the reader in, and keep them right on reading.
