vietboi writes the following about Sleeping Freshman Never Lie :
Date: Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie Author: David Lubar # of Pages: 279 Genre: Fiction Scott Hudson is graduating from 8th grade and is going to high school. Scott and his friends are all excited to going to high school. At last, they are now freshmen! Scott, Patrick, Kyle, and Mitch all are now back from summer and are ready for high school. Scott gets his first taste of high school and there’s tons of homework, tons of classes and don’t forget, seniors. He’s doesn’t have most classes with his friends at all! Also, he’s in love with Julia! They were best friends in kindergarten! She doesn’t even notice him now! But most importantly, his mom is pregnant! Is everything going to change now? I would give this book an 8 because it was really good. It talks about how an 8th grader graduates and gets hit with high school. Tons of homework, tons of classes, he doesn’t see his friends a lot, and he starts liking girls. Not to mention home problems. He’s brother trying to find a job, leaving in and out of the house, and his mom being pregnant. The only thing I would change is the beginning because it doesn’t really hook you at first. But after the first couple of chapters it gets good.
