Jerin writes the following about Adam of the Road :

Adam Quartermayne is an 11 year old boy in the year 1294 who always has adventure in his life. In the book Adam of the Road, Adam has lost his beloved father Roger. Just when you think things can not get worse, he later loses his dog Nick. Then Adam ends up searching roads and towns and meeting strangers. Can Adam find his father and dog or will he end up empty handed. I recommend this book for ages 10-12.
