Devin writes the following about Catherine, Called Birdy :
In the book, Catherine, Called Birdy, a girl named Catherine, also called Little Bird or Birdy, has a problem. Catherine hates her life. She can't do whatever she wants to do, and she has to marry whomever comes. She keeps them off her back, but soon someone very ugly has to marry her. Can Little Bird keep this person off her back, or does she have to give in? An outstanding book that reminds you of the Middle Ages. Ages ten through fifteen.
