This book was a well crafted and riveting story with a lot of spot-on dialouge that portrays a teenage audience well. The themes that this book was based on were modern yet were themes young women have had to deal with for years. Thigns like abuse, emotional abuse, and drug abuse were touched on as we traveled through a fast-paced love between a girl that had everything to gain and a boy who was sure to be dangerous. Caitlin O'Koren was always in her the shadow of her sister, now it is her time to share her story of growing up and understanding just how important she, as an induvidual, truly is. I recommend Dreamland for anyone, young or old, either to remember or be reassured of true things happening to our teenage girls.
