Emma writes the following about The Black Pearl :
About Ramon Salazar and him and his fathers pearl business. Ramon wants to dive but his father is scared that something will happen if he tries to dive. He ends up taking diving lessons with and Indian Soto Luzon. He finds a massive pearl that is 62.3 carats! He is debating to either give it to the church or to sell it. He ends up giving it to the Madonna the spirit they believe in. Then bad things start to happen and he steals it to give it back to the Manta Diablo the big ray that is making these things happen. He gets then followed by the Sevillano a.k.a Gaspar Ruiz. Then he throws it in the water for the Sevillano to get it. Sadly he does get it and then Ramon is almost put to death.
