Holes is a good book. It will give the new readers a good idea of what Stanley thought. Stanley Yelnates was innocent boy when he was sent to Camp Green Lake. He has to dig a hole 5 feet deep and 5 feet wide everyday, no shade and water every now and then. I would recommend giving this book to any person beacause I think they would really like it.
