I loved this book. It was refreshing. It showed the difficulty Santiago had in making his decisions. It showed what we go through each and every day, just not to such a high caliber. I think the book shows we work hard and travel far to get what we want until we realize we had it all along but have learned new things in our path. I love how it exerts the idea of following your heart, even if your dream is unrealistic. You might be surprised.
