Cherokee writes the following about Holes :
I think the book Holes is a good book. I suggest that you should read this book. It is about a boy named Stanley Yeknats. He is accused of stealing a pair of shoes that Cylde Livingston donated to a homeless shelter. So he has a choice between Camp Green Lake or Jail. He chooses. The boys have to dig a hole five feet and five feet wide. The warden says it builds character, but she is looking for a treasure chest of gold and diamonds. It ends up he is innocent.
