Kendra <3 writes the following about Stepping on the Cracks :
"Stepping On The Cracks" is a fantastic story for young adults. It shows you so many different lessons to learn and is so exciting!Eleven-year-old Margaret is best friends with Elizabeth (her next door neighbor and classmate) and enemies with Gordy Smith. All of them have brothers in the army fighting for their country. Elizabeth and Margaret hate Gordy more than you would think and sometimes, disobeying their parents, they cross the railroads and follow him to see what he's getting into with his friends Toad and Doug. Elizabeth being the more courageous one, decides one day after they follow Gordy to his hut in the woods and find a deep secret he's hiding, that she wants to put revenge on Gordy Smith. When this is done they are in for more than they exspected. As they solve a series of unfortnate events and stay strong without every problem they must face they see that they had more friends then they thought.
