Lauren writes the following about corner of the universe :
In my opinion this book was absolutly great. As an 11 year old i believe this book taught a great lesson. When i first started reading this book i wasnt sure if i would like it. As i got further in the book i really learned alot from it. In the book Hattie Owen meets an uncle she never knew she had before. To most people he wasnt important and was concidered a nuisance. To adults and children in the town he was concidered a freak. Hattie didnt think so. she though he was a cool uncle. One day one of the people living in Hattie's house came onto the porch, her name was Angel Valentine, from the moment Adam saw her he really had feelings for her. Liking her made him feel more comforatable with himself. He wasnt sure if he even had a chance but he was willing to try to find love. Adam had a problem he was really about 20 but acted as if he was only a child. I would recommend this book to almost anyone. I loved it and i think you would as well. Try it, you might even like it !
