Catherine writes the following about Misty of Chincoteague :

I was given the assignment to figure out what my parent's favorite book was. I then talked to my mom and she said Misty of Chincoteague. I started to read the book and realize how much the two kids wanted the Phantom. In the end Misty was a very happy pony and so was her mother.
