Ryan rocker writes the following about Hoot :
Hoot

I personally think Hoot was a good book. It was about three kids named Mullet, Beatrice, & Roy who are trying to help save owls when somebody named Curly is trying to build a pancake house. I don’t want to tell you what is going to happen at the end but I will tell you this it is very exiting. Any way he is trying to help a noble cause but there is a little problem ok it’s a big problem Dana. Dana is Roy‘s bully. And Roy gets in lots of trouble for absolutely no reason. Some of the other characters in this story are the dumb police officer Delinko, mom and dad. I am definitely going to rate this book a 10 out of a possible 10 for its amazing creativity. I would like to thank the author Carl Hiaasen for writing this book. what stinks is that I can’t rate the illustrations because the book doesn’t really have any. Well without further a do all I can say is READ THIS BOOK!!!!
