alvare11 writes the following about A Terrifying taste of Short and Shivery :
If you’re looking for a book that will get a “spook” out of you, then you should read “A Terrifying taste of Short and Shivery”. This is a book that tells about “ folk stories” all around the world. This book, retold by Robert D. San Souci, is a great book for when you’re in the mood for telling a scary story. It has great illustrations, but the thing I didn’t like is that there is only about 1 or 2 pictures for each story. I rated this a 10 for the stories in the book and I also rated the pictures a 9.5 even though it only had a few. This book is also similar to another book called, “ Ask the Bones”. It’s pretty much the same but with different stories. If I could change this book I wouldn’t change a thing. This is 1 of the best books I’ve ever read. That’s why I rated the storybook a good rating. If you’re in for a spook definitely look for and read this book!!!
