Ana writes the following about Artemis Fowl :
This story is about a 12-year-old boy named Artemis who is a complete genius. He wants more money, and fairy money is the most valuable there is. When he discovers fairy money is real, he also discovers that fairies regain their power on a full moon. Artemis and his butlers capture themselves a fairy named Holly. thinking they can trick her into telling them where to get fairy money. Some of Holly's partners set out to save her, so they put a time field around Artemis' house. They are planning to set a bio-bomb, which will kill anyone who is in the time field after the time field wears off. Artemis and his butlers are inside the time field, and the fairies are completely sure they'll die. Will Artemis and his butlers survive? You'll have to read the book to find out! My favorite parts were the following: When Holly tells Artemis that he will never beat her, she says, "If you're good, I'll give you a lollipop!". Then, when she left, Artemis said, "I don't even like lollipops...," in a low murmur. When a dwarf that one of Holly's partners hires to search for her digs underground with his mouth to make a tunnel to rescue her. He swallows the dirt, which gives him gas, and the "explosion" falls all over Artemis' butler, covering him with dirt. The fact that one of Artemis' two butlers is actually called Butler.
