The book, She Said Yes, was a heart-warming book that really broke through to me. I always hear about shootings that happen on the news and I think to myself that, that will never happen to me. Well that is what the girl's mother thought, but she was wrong. So this book makes me realize that it can happen to me, and all I can do is just pray that it does not happen to me. I would recommend this book to people who understand death. Children will not think that they will die, but a teenager or an adult will. It will really make a person think about things more thoroughly than they used to. The storyline is about a girl who gets killed in a high school shooting. Then the mother tells different stories about the girl. How she acted it before the shooting, and all that kind of stuff. I would give this book a seven if I had to rate it, because like I said before, it is a touching book, but after the first fifty or sixty pages it starts to lose the readers attention. If I would have written this book I would change the time of the girl dies towards the end of the story instead of the beginning of it.
