laviette writes the following about Timothy of the Cay :
My book,Timothy The Cay, is about a little boy named Phillip. Phillip was an African-American. Phillip was a refugee from a fatal shipwreck, and dependent on an extraordinary West Indian, named Timothy. Phillip and Timothy, the only people on the Caribbean Island...I think this book is good and exciting because it tells about how it is living by yourself at a young age and being stranded on a desserted Island.
